• Saturday, July 12, 2008 - Ragamuffin Top Challenge: WEEK SEVEN

Week seven was a little better... but I still didn't accomplish all of my goals that I set from last week.  I've re-evaluated how things have been going, and because I'm nursing, I haven't been able to "diet" the way I've done in the past.  While not having the same weight goal as I would while not nursing, I think my weight goal was still under what I'll be able to get to.  I just have to eat too much to maintain my milk supply and so with that... some things have changed...

My original weight goal was 115 lbs.  I'm changing that to 120-125 lbs.  I give myself that 5 pound flex since my weight fluctuates in between nursing even!  If I could be consistently under 125,  I would be happy.

So, here's the re-cap:
New Goal weight: under 125 lbs.
Start weight: 131.5
  • Week One: 132
  • Week Two:  131
  • Week Three: 130.5
  • Week Four: 129
  • Week Five: 125.5
  • Week Six: 129
And (drum roll please) ......................................................

Week Seven: 128
So, with a new goal, I'm entering the week with a new attitude too.  I haven't had a week yet where I've completed all of my goals, so for this week... instead of writing down everything I would like to be doing... I'm going to give myself a reasonable goal for the week in which I have ahead (if I'm busy, I won't pressure myself into a half hour exercise routine that could never get done with the kids!).  I just need to be more realistic and have this exercise program fit into my life, even though I might otherwise like my life to fit into my exercise program!  Bit by bit... here I go!

Also, I started keeping track of the waist loss late in the challenge, so here's the re-cap on that:
Goal waist: 25"
Start waist: 35.5"
  • Week One: 34"
  • Week Two: 34"
  • Week Three: 33.5"

Goals for week seven:
  • water, water, WATER (every day)!
  • Water with ALL meals... NO POP!
  • treadmill - 1 mile 3 times for the week
  • 5 minutes with hula hoop 5 times for the week
  • exercise video at least 2 times (15 Minute Everyday Pilates)
So tell me, RagamuffinTops... how are you coming on your goal weight?  What changes have you noticed in your appearance?  I know that even though my weight hasn't changed much, things are toning up and my weight is fluctuating... and for now, that has to be good enough!  Here's to next week!

Now then, awesome job and I wish you continued success. I haven't noticed a visible difference yet, but I know I feel 100% better.
