• Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Ragamuffin Top Challenge: WEEK EIGHT

Week eight, admittedly, was horrible... why does it seem as though this is getting harder?  Maybe it's the beautiful weather we're having and the fact that things around our home have been especially stressful, that I just can't seem to motivate myself to exercise.  It seems as though I'm trying to keep things together as best as I can, and adding something extra would upset the apple cart.

I did weigh myself EVERY morning this past week to see how my weight changes(because of nursing) and to get a better idea what goal weight I need to shoot for.  It seems as though it varies about 3-4 lbs from day to day...

So, here's the re-cap:
New Goal weight: under 125 lbs.
Start weight: 131.5
  • Week One: 132
  • Week Two:  131
  • Week Three: 130.5
  • Week Four: 129
  • Week Five: 125.5
  • Week Six: 129
  • Week Seven: 128
And (drum roll please) ......................................................
(you'll have to envision a picture because it got erased off my camera)
Week Seven: 127.5

Also, I started keeping track of the waist loss late in the challenge, so here's the re-cap on that:
Goal waist: 25"
Start waist: 35.5"
  • Week One: 34"
  • Week Two: 34"
  • Week Three: 33.5"
  • Week Four: 33.5"

Goals for next week:
  • water, water, WATER (every day)!
  • treadmill - 1 mile 3 times for the week
  • 5 minutes with hula hoop 5 times for the week
  • exercise video at least 2 times (15 Minute Everyday Pilates)
So tell me, RagamuffinTops... how much more time do you have left to try and reach your goal? I have only four weeks left so it's time to really get going!  We have a family reunion and I want to be in shape!  (Funny how those things have a tendency to motivate us huh?)  Here's to next week!

Hey don't worry about it your doing so good! It always goes down hill at the end. I have found at the end to help get the extra pounds off it is good to not let your body know what you are going to do next. So diet one day, eat normal the next (healthy normal), then diet again. I have found it works the best so my metabolism does not get "use" to what I eat and bottom out.

Well I pray that helps you...so where is the cool scale pick.
