• Monday, June 1, 2009 - Problems with the facebook event...
So I've run into a LITTLE problem on facebook (again) and apparently if your "event" grows to be over 1,200 people, you can no longer send out mass messages. There are a couple of ways to handle this, however, I will be gone all day (which is the actual reason why I started this to begin with because I knew my husband would need to be covered in prayer today... and I will share that later in the 30 days).
Soooooooooooooooooooo... for now, I will just need the women to check in here on my blog, my facebook (I will leave it in my notes (so please "friend" me in order to see what I write) until I can work on fixing this later tonight. I really wanted to be able to encourage you gals throughout the 30 days, and so I am praying for answers to this. In some ways I feel "stupid"... I thought it would be "cool" if 500 women joined... how could I put such a small number on such a great thing? God is so much bigger than I let Him be on this one... and He never ceases to amaze me.
I will be back later this evening, so please check back for my post. After all the confusion and problems last night trying to fix it, I never got my post done. Today we are praying for "HIS WIFE"...
Up bright and early and starting my day with prayer for my husband. I feel God's timing as I begin praying through this book. It's funny because I read this book about 6 years ago and had recently thought about going through it again. I kept putting it off and then SHMILY showed up on my facebook. It's so clearly what I need to be focused on right now. Thank you for putting this together Amy!
Praying for you and your beloved today, Amy. I'm so excited to watch as God works through the SHMILY 30 Days of Prayer ~ He's a great and amazing God, isn't He?!
I read the chapter...I hope there aren't all this long. It was hard finding time to read it all. But, I could certainly see me in a few things spoken there. I prayed the end prayer but I plan to make my own tonight before bed. What a wonderful thing to do. Even if our marriage is in a good spot.
~Jen W
PS...keeping you and your family in my thoughts.
Amy, I look forward to seeing where this SHMILY on facebook group/fan page goes! God is amazing & definitely using you to help others! Thanks for persevering.

i read this book already but i'm reading it again. i'm believing God for healing and restoration in my marriage. i decided to post about this 30-day prayer on my blog.
Just wanted to say that this 30 days of Prayer has started at the perfect time for me and my marriage. I had a HARD time reading and praying for my husband yesterday, I was definitely "getting" what she was saying in that first chapter. But I know God is bigger than all the problems we are having and Im so glad I pressed on and am praying for him, and ulitimately US. Thanks for starting this group, I didnt realize how much I needed it. :)
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
