Well ladies, for those of you who have been praying for your husband since the beginning of SHMILY for 30 days of prayer... you've made it to the half way mark!  (pause for you to do a happy dance of joy...)

Some of you have sent me notes to share how wonderful this has been for your marriage... for others, I know that it hasn't been easy... for some, it's been so hard as you pray for God to save your marriage.   Regardless of what category you fall into, I'm asking you to hang in there for 15 more days!

Some of you have been sitting on the sidelines and watching... maybe reading some posts... but not wanting to commit to because you're not ready to change yourself.  Some of you are so hurt, you don't want to pray for this man you feel nothing but anger toward.  For those of you who fall into this category, I ask you to join us... you have EVERYTHING to gain.

Whether you have been with us since the beginning of June, or are just joining in, please read the very first prayer again today from Chapter 1, "His Wife".  God is working on you and will continue to do so if you let him... it may not be easy, but nothing worth having ever is... and your marriage is worth fighting for! 

I heard a song the other day that made me think of all of the women as we pray for our husbands, but even more, for the changes that are happening in us... all to bring glory to God.  Take a few moments to really reflect on the words today and how God has been working on you...

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the thousands of women from all over the world joining in prayer for their husbands.  Continue to work on us and bless our marriages as we seek You and Your desire for each of our marriages.  Help us to continue on our trek for the remaining days and give us patience, wisdom and strength to be the wives You created us to be. In Jesus' name, Amen.
