NOW... Because I'm a good sport, I have answered this one and only tag, HOWEVER... without any intention of being a "party pooper", this will be the last tag I answer because...
even though "tagging" can be a fun way of meeting people, I would really like to see more "meaningful and thoughtful" posts put into blogging, and I think that tagging can take away from what someone would have otherwise written before getting tagged...
I saw today that someone had been tagged THREE times in a couple of weeks! How does she have time to write anything else??!!
I'm behind in enough things, so I don't want "tags" piling up like the junk mail and bills (I guess bills could be considered "junk" too... tee hee) on my desk...
the people here are so interesting, that I enjoy reading their posts... the tags are cute, but seem to be getting out of control as of late...
SOOOOOOOO...... how 'bout this for an idea? I'm going to have a new category on my site with "SEEDS OF INSPIRATION" that you can go to if you're stumped on what to write. They'll be questions that will help others get to know you better, and maybe even yourself. I know that the main page of the homeschool blogger has ideas for each day as well, but this will be a little different, in that it will apply to anyone who wants to respond. I hope this gives us a chance to get to know, encourage, and make new friends. Please tell others about this and we'll see what "seeds of inspiration" fall on fertile soil!
In Him, Amy By the way... Here are my answers to my tag...
Q: What is your favorite night-time snack? ...ice cream with my husband after the kids (even the teen) are in bed!
Q: If you could choose 3 comfort items to take with you for a year on a desert island, what would they be?
My husband
Our children (yes, I'm counting them as one thing!)
The Bible
Q: Why did you choose each item? ...There's nothing in my life more comforting than the Lord, my husband, and our family (in that order...) With them, would I NEED anything else?
Q: What is your first memory? ...I have so many memories of when I was little, I scare my mom... I remember moments from when I was two. Since I have a lot, I'm not sure what one was first...
I think tag free is a great idea!!! I say this because someone will post something like my gramma dies, then they get tagged in that post....didn't care for it to much!!! Backin you up on this one!!!
Thursday, August 25, 2005 - I REALLY like this idea!

I was one of those who was tagged three times in two weeks. And I enjoyed sharing, but did feel like I couldn't get on to posting some of what I really wanted to write until I'd completed my tags, which were ultra time consuming! Then I felt so silly, and juvenile and even annoying going around tagging others (which was quite time consuming with three tags to complete, so I combined some- now wondering why I even followed through with it? Well, I felt compelled, but I did check to make sure that my tag stood alone. 3 to tackle at once was a bear!)... Now I'm hoping that I haven't unnecessarily burdened anyone else... So, count me in! This is a very gracious way to say, "Thanks, but No thanks, I'm not playing anymore..."
I didn't mean to post anonymously...Anyways, I'm glad to find your blog, it's good to *meet* you. Guess I'm off to decree my site a non-tagging zone now. Bah-hum-bug! hehehe
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
