Hi Amy, Just wanted to stop by and say hi and tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers today. Take little moments today to just stop and enjoy the presence of Jesus. In Him, Colleen
Yes I have gotten the dreaded letter in the mail. As a matter of fact I got one a month or so ago...now I just need to find the money. I won't share my biggest fine either...but my family of 5 could go out to eat.
I SO needed this today! I can't even begin to tell you how much your posts, the book talk forum, and the subjects that you choose to discuss mean to me! You seem to know me personally!
I love the verse you chose for this devotion. That was a big confirmation for me because I was led to the same verse on Saturday. God is so cool. I just love how He does that! Thanks for the encouraging post. Our calling, raising children and educating them can be so overwhelming. This was a great reminder that God believes we can do this - and do it well!
Thanks, Amy. This is great. Sometimes I find myself doubting the very things the Lord has spoken to me. Once the Lord spoke very clearly to me, "Stop doubting my word!" I was in the ladies' room during a church service when he spoke this to me. At that very moment, after I heard those words in my heart, the preacher (whose voice was piped in via speakers) said "Stop doubting my word." I almost fell over. Now when I am tempted to doubt, I hear those words again in my heart.
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
