A Love Like Ours
In the beginning of our relationship,
everything was brand new…
We were learning about each other
and realizing our friendship was so much more.
Each day brought something new,
and every moment together
was filled with wonder and joy.
Time apart was
spent in endless anticipation,
impatiently waiting
until we would be together again.
I thanked God for binging you into my life.
Our love was magical and unexplainable.
No one had a love like ours.
 
Time has passed
bringing many changes to our life.
We no longer learn something new
about each other every day,
but instead, finish the others’ sentences.
Time alone together is at times,
taken for granted,
while at other times, impossible to arrange.
Moments apart are greater than before.

 Time has passed
and I still love you…
every time I look into our children’s eyes,
every moment you walk in the door,
every night while you lay asleep,
every morning you wake up beside me,
and every second in-between.

 I still thank God for bringing you into my life,
and our love is still magical and unexplainable…
and now I’m certain…
no one ever has or will ever have,
a love like ours.
