Monday, April 23, 2007 - Humor

I missed church yesterday due to my illness and that means that there is no missionary for Mission Monday.  Instead I will entertain you all with how Cameron has been making me laugh.

Goldfish:  A lovely little creek runs beside our home and you can get a pretty good look at it from the window at the landing to the second floor.  Cameron was passing by the window and saw a neat site.

"MOM!!!!  I saw a gold fish!  A real gold fish!  It was swimming up the creek!!!  It was a real gold fish and it wasn't made of cheese!"

Guinea pigs: "Mom, I don't know why they are called pigs.  I "oinked" right at them and didn't do anything but look right back at me. Like this."  (Wide eyed stare with a blink, blink.)

Babyshower: I recently went to a baby shower for a lady at church.  Cameron was very excited about the coming even because he was going to get to play with the Pastors two boys.

"Mom, how many more days until I go to play with T & S and you go give that baby a bath?"

Bananas:  Cameron recently learned that bananas are not technically considered fruit.  They are considered herbs.

C: Mom, can I have an herb

M: (thinking for a moment and then chuckling) Sure you can.

C: Do you know what I mean?

M: Yes, you want a banana. (laughing)

C: (laughing) Yes!

M: (Moving towards the desk to write down the funny conversation.  I do this often.)

C: Mom, that was funny.  You should write that one down.

M: (laughing) That's exactly what I was going to do.

C: (Heard from kitchen getting his banana) Mom, can I have an herb?  Sure.  Do you know what I mean? Yes, a banana.  Isn't that funny one mom?
