Friday, January 11, 2008 - Gradparents are Great
And great-grandparents are even better! My grandparents were visiting from out of state over the Christmas break. We really enjoyed our time together.

I was able to load these pictures up to my mother's computer and she printed out a picture for each of them.
Mema and Cameron putting together a Lego backhoe. They make a pretty good team.
Grandpa Sam teaching Cameron about "righty tighty, lefty loosey."
We also played dominoes. What a GREAT game that was for us. It was easy for Cameorn to understand the rules and play and he loved it. We played numerous games. Now we just need to work on Cameron keeping his hand a secret instead of announcing to the room what tiles he had to play. LOL
Oh, and here is Cameron and my mom, Grandma. They have such a great smile because apparently Mema was behind me being goofy.

Yes they are! we had my mum here for christmas break as well. It was wonderful to have her for 2 weeks! M missed her so much as he used to see her everyday before the "big move". and great grandparents are great too! m has3 of them still alive and on grandma and now he has no papas left which is the sad part. Both my dad and step father have now passed and he knew both of them. Thanks for sharing the photos!

Your grandparents and mom are soooo young! They look fantastic! My grandma is 90, I don't think I'll ever see her putting together legos with my son! You are truly blessed!

I feel really lucky that my son spends time with my parents once a week (sometimes more, sometimes less). I think they are forging a very special bond that I didn't have so much with my grandparents even though I loved them very much.
