Saturday, January 19, 2008 - Happy Thanksgiving
We did it. We finally finished our first lapbook. Yes, it was about Thanksgiving but I was NOT going to give up and throw it by the way side. Cameron was very excited to get it done.

On the left hand side there are two booklets: The Pilgrims, and The First Thanksgiving.
In the middle section there is a booklet of all the books we read, "I Am Thankful for.." booklet, pictures of the Mayflower and verses that talk about giving thanks.
On the left side is our Thanksgiving time line:
We've already started our next one but this one is a kit. Which I think I need.

WTG on completing this project! I don't know if I would have lasted that long or not! LOL
May the next lap book go much, much faster for you! LOL
I haven't attempted one of these yet even though I think they look really neat.

You both get A++++++ for perseverance!!! The lapbook looks great, I hope that the next one goes much quicker! I've never tried a lapbook yet, I guess I'm getting too old to try something different! Ha!

I'm so glad you didn't quit. It will be a great thing to look back on, and such a feeling of accomplishment for Cameron. It looks really great!
