Friday, February 1, 2008 - "All About Me" Lapbook
Our second lapbook did not take anywhere near as long as this one. I think it helped that it was a kit.
We had fun working on the cover. We did feet and handprints.

He was caught "red-handed"

Then we had a "foot washing ceremony"

We cut these out and pasted on his painted cover. The title was made with fingerprints.

The inside:

Time Line:

My Family:

As an only child he doesn't have brothers and sisters so we did his uncle Adrian and then his two cousins.
Three Things About Me:

- #1: "I like to play soccer"
- #2: "Pinky Dinky Do is my Guinea pig"
- #3: "I have school at home" (with a picture of our house)
Importan Information:

My Body:

He was to decorate the paper doll to look like him.
The four flap books:
- Things I can do with my head: "I can think"
- Things I can do with my hands and arms: "I can grab stuff"
- Things I like to feed my tummy: "Pizza, tomatoes, rice, and chocolate ice cream"
- Things I can do with my feet and legs: "I can walk, run and play soccer."
I have...

This was a little booklet for him to fill out about himself.
Favorite Things:

This little booklet had a few pages for him to fill out about his favorite foods, places, people, toys, games, books and movies. I LOVED his picture for the movies. His drawing is of Yoda and Darth Vadar from Star Wars!
We have not finished the poem. I'm going to do this later.

Very nice! This lapbook actually looks do-able! Most that I've seen look absolutely overwhelming to me and give me no desire to ever do one!

This looks SO great! I would like to do one of these for my kids. But I have a ton of projects I'd like to do with them.
I just wanted you to know that I read your blog often. I don't comment much because I typically read it from Google Reader.
You and Cameron inspire me and I enjoy reading what you are doing!
