Monday, December 1, 2008 - Thanksgiving Vacation
We took the whole week off for Thanksgiving this year. We were all caught up on our schooling and had no plans for the entire week. A friend of mine had been bugging me and asking me when we were going to come for a visit and was more than thrilled that we could spend Thanksgiving with them.
It was a nice change of pace. Cameron was able to play with children almost around the clock. (Well, the fought too but that could be good learning experience as well, especially for an only child.) It was nice to work along side someone to get meals prepared and clean up afterwards instead of doing it all myself.
It was also nice to play games with someone. Cameron is not a big game player. Hopefully he will grow into it because I really like to play games.
I have a really busy month this month, but then again, what December hasn't been jam-packed? It was nice to have a week of relaxation to prepare for the business of Decemeber.
