Mar. 2, 2007 - Me Again
Kudos to all who posted some comments for the pic. Yes, I know that he is such a cutie. I love him to death (except when hes a bad dog)! lol! There are times when he can drive you up the wall. He is a big freak when it comes to toys. He loves tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, boxes, etc. Things like that he loves to shread. There's hardly a day that goes by when he doesn't get one of those things. He is also a big fan of stuffed animals. (What dog isn't?) At least once a day, he'll get one of my sister's stuffed animals and run around the house with it. Despite being a big dog, he is such a wuss. He hates mirrors. When I say hate, he really hates it. Maybe its his reflection that freaks him. Who knows!
Anyway, I thought I'd post what I did today in school just to get it off the chest and say "TGIF!". Well, because of the extra credit class that I chose to do, I have about an extra hour of school every day. This moring I got off to a late start, so I didn't get done until sometime around 1:30. For classes, I can go in any order, but I usually just do this order: Algebra 2, Spanish, Bible Doctrines, Consumer Math, English, Biology, and then World History. World History is last eveyday, even if I change all of the others around because I always say, "Save the best for last!" World History is my favorite subject ever. I lean more towards the Ancient history of the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. As we get further into modern history, I notice that I don't cling to the class as much as I used to. Is it wrong that I do that? Or, maybe I should just be a bit more broad in my approach to world history. Being so close to the end of the school year (57 days), I look forward to the end of the day more and more.
Being such a math freak, I love to start my day off with a bit of Algebra action. Another reason why I start with this class is that it definately gets my mind moving and thinking. I mean with equations that take up a whole page, that is sure to be your source of caffiene in the morning. Speaking of which, I don't really like caffiene. Well, I take that back. I love cappachinos. Don't laugh at my spelling. I don't really know how to spell that even though it's probably easy. English has never really been my strongest subject. My English class is divided up into three things: Grammer and Composition, World Literature, and Vocabulary and Spelling. The thing that pushes me away from liking it, I think, is that there are so many rules and darn variables to figuring out how to break down a sentence. That is why I prefer math. Math is absolute. There are no exceptions to rules unlike English. There is always an exception and sometimes an exception to the exception. Take the word Reverand and Honorable. If you use Reverand in a sentence you may abbreviate it if the full name is there. But, even if the full name is there and the word the precedes it, you must spell it out. Just typing it is difficult.
Now Spanish is a totally different matter. I love Spanish. It is sooooo easy. I mean, there is usually only one sound per letter and there aren't even 26 letters there! My whole family finds most of it confusing, but I find it to be a breeze. The main thing that one must get down if they are to take Spanish is that everything must agree. Being a Romantic language (i.e. Latin and German), all words have a gender and number value. Take the word libro (book) for example. This word is a mascualine noun, where as pluma (pen) is not. To make it even simpler: if the word ends in o, then it is a mascualine word. If the word ends in a, it is a feminine word. Of course, there are exceptions, but nothing major. Occupations such as dentista, explora, mecanica, etc. are all mascualing words.
Well, I've probably worn ya'll out from reading and I didn't intend to make this a school session. Sorry about that
.
G2G! Leave comments and maybe I'll post some pics.

I am doing world history also. I love studying about the Roman empire. I like algebra 2, but I hate doing the test. Spanish is hard for me and I don't know why.

Hey!
I found your blog from the 'Who's Online' thing. Your username kinda stood out. *grin* I just finished watching The Phantom of the Opera so I'm in bit of a Phantom obsession.
French is a romantic language as well. Everything is either masculine or feminine, and you have to be careful when writing or speaking French that you end it with an 'e', take off the 'e', etc., etc. That, to me, can be confusing.
