I forgot to mention..
that we were preparing to take our annual leave back to the States.  Time just got away from me and before I knew it, we were off.  As a matter of fact, I'm writing to you from Atlanta airport where we are awaiting our next flight.  We had a wonderful, uneventful flight from Tel Aviv overnight and should get to my parents house in NC sometime early this afternoon.  The kids did a fantastic job.  Even little Samuel hardly made a peep. (Grace actually heard someone comment on how good he was and they assumed we had drugged him to keep him so calm, hmmm...I refuse to be insulted since it's only the Lord's grace that helped him stay so relaxed!)  Nathan was sound asleep before we even took off.  (Our flight left T.A.  at 1130 pm.)  Mommy was even able to catch a few winks.  Bed will certainly feel wonderful tonight, but at least a four or five hour stretch gives me something to work with:)  I'm sure I'll take a little power nap while we travel our last leg up to N.C.

Oh, and another blessing for our family came earlier this week when we had the privilege of hosting Pastor Sinclair Ferguson at our home  for a few days. If you are not familiar with this name, take a moment to look him up on the web and maybe even spoil yourself and nourish your soul with one of his books or an audio sermon.  He's a shepherd in the true sense of the word and the Lord provided sweet refreshment and fellowship for our family though this gentle, kind and wise man.

Well, I think I've been sitting still too long!  I've got a terrible case of the drowsies!  Do any of you notice your inner ear gets whacked out when you travel long distances by plane?  I have the same problem after being on a boat for a couple of hours.  I feel in constant motion even when I'm sitting still.   Anyway, the feeling of rocking to and fro just add to my over- all feeling of drowsiness.

Well, have a wonderful next few weeks.  We will be busy enjoying family time on our whirl wind vacation.  I doubt I'll do much writing, but at least you'll know what we're up to!

Warmly,
Maggie
