MRO for the 'Clueless'
| Lyric's comment has provoked me into creating this blog about the Mission Radio Operations. MRO is a field of Emergency Services where the cadet is taught how to use a radio properly and locate yourself on a map and report a position when out in the field. The other part is when you are in the mission base operating a radio. If you are in this position it is your responsibility to know where all the teams are at any 15 minute interval, report a find of a clue, or find out if a team must return to base because of an injury. This is an extremely important position in the chain between base and the teams. So there is the explanation of what a Mission Radio Operator does. |
