Of much fun!

I got back from the Indianapolis/Cincinnati trip at 4am yesterday!

We had a lot of fun! We started packing the 22nd (my birthday) and left at 5am on the 23rd!

We got to Cincinnati around 12:00 but it took us another hour to find the convention.

After the convention we were so beat we just grabbed a hotel there in town. After changing into something more casual we went down to the lobby to ask for a restaurant. A couple to the right of us was asking for a good restaurant too. But the worker could hardly understand them because they were from Russia.

After we got the directions we noticed that they were having a hard time understanding the same directions so we offered for them to just follow us. And they did! After we spent an hour looking for a parking spot we went in to eat.

Over dinner we learned he was a computer programmer for the Soviet Union.

They didn’t have personal computers back then so he programmed mainframes.

It was very interesting.

After dinner they followed us back to the hotel where we went to our separate rooms to get some sleep.

The next day we got up and started for Indianapolis! We got there around 11am and finished the convention at 6:30pm.

The whole thing was a lot of fun!

Please take a look at my geeky blog!

Those are good Birthday presents, I like the drivers permit. I could get a permit myself, but I think I'm going to wait until I'm 17 to get it. That's my decision, not my parents! From rumors I’ve heard around the blog, your mom is supposed to be a really good cook!
