Alright guys, I’m going to ask you all one more time.

What avatar should I use?

I like the old original tux but I’m kinda tried of him. SO, I made the new groovin’ Tux and most of you didn’t care for it. So, what do you think of this here, newest one?

It took me a while to make. Should I just go back to the original Tux?

SuperAngel really likes it! And so do both JocelynDixon and rjdjohn316.

I think SamIAm said she likes it too.

Ok guys, you all get a gold star if you click all of these links below!

Haha...

And don’t even think about cheating by clicking only half of them and claiming your gold star!

:D

Ok, here are the links (in no particular order):

JoeM – the best web-designer in town!

Anne – the best web-coder in town!

SuperAngel – the best Super-man lover in town!

JocelynDixon – the best goat-maiden in town!

EricNovakthe best Word Press-Blogger in town!

That’s it! And if I’m forgetting anybody, just whack me on the head!

I'm posting this video for ClassicalAstronomy.

He wrote a VERY good book on, you guessed it, astronomy called Signs and Seasons!

You can buy this awesome book at:

It's very important to be thinking about our financial futures!

If you could get some kind of business going now then you may not have to waste time starting one in the future. Now is the time to start one! Now is before we (as "young adults") are paying big expenses such as, electricity, payments on our houses, payments on our cars, food, and so on)

Do you really want to waste time struggling financially? No, not for me. If I can generate a steady income before I leave home than I won’t have to worry about getting one when things are tough.

And there is no better way than doing it over the Internet!

Especially if you can make some kind of business that requires very little work such as a high traffic site that you can sell ad space on. If you spend the time now to build a site that people will WANT to go to, than you can sell lets say 20 ad spots at $70/month (very reasonable) you'll have $1400/month coming in and you're not even wasting time to go out to make it! Once you spend the time to put the site up, it's up! And it'll just continue to make you money! Now $1400/month isn't a whole lot but it's a start!

Think about it, if we are able to set up a steady income without having to work much, then that'll free up our lives in a huge way! Sure, we'll have to work hard to get it started. But if we can count on a check every month from our "little self making money maker" (try and say that ten time fast) then we can spend our time with our families, starting another business, taking college classes, becoming a missionary, you name it. We'll have TIME and that's the point. We HOMESCHOOLERS have time!

Ok, sorry to bore you all with that but Jocelyn posted a few of her goals so I thought I'd post one of mine.
:D

We're going to be packing half a cow in our freezer soon. More on that later.

:D

(This has got to be the most random blog post ever!)

W007!! First comment!

The thing about the advertising on websites -- or really anything -- is you have to have something people visits. I know you and I have talked about this but I'm just saying this for everybody else's benefit. You have to have tons of hits to your site to make it worth the advertisers dollar.

Just go with the new one if you want to! It's not really nerve racking, so I can stand it. :D

I clicked all the links except for yours and mine(and I will click yours after this comment to see if you've updated recently).

No kidding about the financial futures! You've really gotta get to working when you're younger, because once you're older, you won't have time! It's so much harder to do it with a working schedule. Even at $70 a month rentals for ads, as time goes on, you get more popularity, and are worth more money! So, what might be $1400 a month now, may be four times as much in a couple of years. And not only that but, once you have traffic, it can also feed other businesses and give them a "jump start". ;)

I's the best Linux user in town eh? Thanks :P

I commented on your last post.

I like the new avatar because I stare at it for awhile trying figure out how you made it. Your blog ad ons are conversation pieces. Haha...

Yes, Jocelyn started a good topic. I've been thinking about my goals too. May just as well post them some time...of course, I have to be original...and not look like I'm copying Jocelyn...or you...or Eric...or...oh, I give up. I hope I'm not under peer pressure! Just kidding... ;-D

I clicked every single one (including me!). Do I get a prize now? :D

Can I whack you on the head, just for good measure? :D

Half a cow is nice. After hunting season, we usually pack about 8-10 deer in our freezers!

By the way, random is now "in", so posting a random post isn't all so random anymore! lol!

Hey Paulie I already told you that I totally love your current avatar.

As a matter of fact, I think I say that everytime I see it. Tux is great, but this is really cool.
