Hello from the Davis Family!

Hi Everyone!
This is my first time blogging! I have learned a few things. . . the first is that my 5 year old son knows more about computers than I do!! But I am going to take a crack at blogging our life and daily happenings for family and friends (even the one's we have yet to make!) My name is Sarah, I am a Chistian Homeschooling mom of five. My husband, Bobby, and I have 5 children. Tay is 16, Ry is 12, Liv is almost 10, Alec is 7 and the Jack-Attack is almost 6. We have been homeschooling for 2 1/2 years. I wish I would have done it sooner! We are using My Father's World for the 4 younger kids and Taylor is doing American School for Highschool. My mom and a few of my friends always wonder how I do it with no break from my kiddos during the day. What they don't understand is that my kids are some of the funniest, smart, caring individuals I have ever met! I love the blossoming relationships I see in our family, now that we are home together! I see their strenghts, and their weaknesses. I also see how they are growing close to one another. My 12 yo is hillarious! He really could be a stand up comic! (However, his comedy club routine is not appreciated at 9 am when I am trying to get school started. . .as the two little boys are rolling on the floor slapping their knees because they think big brother is the funniest thing ever!) I love the seriouness my almost 10 yo daughter gives to everything academic! She is a walking wealth of information (some of which you never thought you needed to know
) My 7 yo son is a real sweet heart! He is a big help when cleaning and getting things done! He also loves to garden (with my neighbor. . .thanks Holly! As I tend to be the Black Death to anything that grows in soil and requires watering!
) My youngest is a boy x 10! He told me he doesn't need to "do" school because he already "knows everything"! I said this might be true where mud and dirt are concerned! But he still needs to learn so he can think up many more uses for his mud and dirt! This at least got him thinking about it! My oldest is a gem! She is a very sweet and highly responsible teenager. I truly could not run my house so efficiently without her! She is a little mother to the youngers and has a heart for God and his will for her life.
I hope to learn a lot from you more experienced Homeschooler/Blogging moms! I also hope that my children and I can make you laugh, make you think and make you see our love for the Lord as you visit with us on our Homeschooling journey! Have a great night, and Happy Homeschooling!
