Hi, I just wanted to tell you all about an above rubies ladies retreat I've just been on this weekend.

It was amazing, really encouraging and a reminder of how important a job we are doing raising children and spending time and effort training them and teaching them. I would encourage anyone to check out the website www.aboverubies.org for encouragement and ideas in helping you in your role as a mother and homeschooling.

I have been really struggling feeling like I spend all time cleaning and tidying etc and feeling really hard done to if I'm honest so it was a real wake up call and a reminder as to what my role really is and how important it is. The children are doing well except a couple of weeks of fighting off a sickness bug but we're slowly getting bak into the swing of things and doing maths etc so that's good.
