2.8.06
Well we started a new weekly theme today and it is Stars. She loved to look at the pics I found of them and picked one for her poster. We colored one and she cut it out and we just glued it onto a piece of construction paper and of course it had to be pink and she added some girly stickers. She found a pic of a star for her poster and a pic of a twinkling star for her vocabulary word. We did some shape worksheets and then it was time for lunch. She loves doing her leapfrog disney princess laptop and is really learning a lot on it. She was in the math part today and it was asking her for 2 +2 and asked me for the answer and I gave it to her but she had to find the number on the keypad.
I am enjoying our time together more since I know Fall will be here too soon and she will be going to K. I got her appt. set up for next month for K registration. I hated to make the call but had to,lol. We will attend a POPS parents of preschoolers meeting at the end of this month together though too. I talked to her about picking up her crayons and paper when we were finshed doing our work.I said you will have to do that at school before moving onto another activity and she said "Mom this is not preschool this is home" lol I said yes but this is our preschool and you need to learn for real school. We went to pick up her brother and sister and as we walked down the hall to get them she said I wonder where my preschool is. I said no hunny this is where you will go to real school Kindergarten. She is into asking us questions and is so smart on things and picks up on it all so quickly. She is also getting into somewhat of a demanding and stubborn streak too. She wants something and wants it NOW. She is also stubborn and doesn't want to do what she is told to do. I guess its a phase. Her ear infection from last Friday is better and of course the Amoxicillin 400mg has helped her. The ear infection came so quick upon her.
She picked the wizard of oz at the video store with her Daddy last Saturday and he said it was because of the red shoes that she saw on the cover, lol. She has watched it over and over SO many times and we had to return it today. She said that is Dorothy and she said another name and I cant remmeber what she said as I guess it is her last name from the movie. She loves it and I just may get her a copy of her own to have.
I see so many changes in her as she soon turns 4 1/2 yrs old.She is so cute and does she say the funniest things. Our kitten was fixed spayed.neutered however you say it on Sunday. Well she told my Mom who she stayed with on Monday that she sure was glad she was in church because the cat had to have his belly cut open and she was glad she was in church so she didnt have to see that lol. She is so funny. Our cat was fixed at our local animal shelter and it was a tom a thon where the male cats are fixed and vaccinated for rabies for 25.00 so it was done on a sunday. She is something else and we dont know what will come out of her mouth next.
She is tired tonight as she didnt nap today and doesn't everyday. She had her rainbows class tonight too. I bought her some Dora valentines to give to her sunday school friends and rainbows class friends too. She made me a card tonight and handed it to me as she came home and it said this is good for one hug and one kiss. I read it and said oh ok and she instantly got upon my lap and gave me a hug and kiss. Oh how I love that girl as I do all 4 of my kiddos.

Tuesday Jan.19th
We did the color red today and so we colored the octogon shape that was still on her learning poster. We then made a craft and it was a felt elephant. I am just out of sorts today so we didn't do as much as I wanted to. We then made some oatmeal cookies together and she loved that. She helped me a lot and is getting good at helping me cook and bake things.
She is playing dress up today and watching Stanley. I am going to get her on some educational sites this afternoon after we have lunch.

Back to our work Finally-- Jan. 11th,2006
We started her work back today. We began a new theme and it is rainbows. She loves them so it will be fun for her. We didn't do many worksheets as my printer was acting up so we made a craft with her brighter vision set. She liked that. As she worked on that our new kitten laid asleep in dd's chair. HE is so spoiled. He loves dd and she is always picking him up but he doesn't seem to mind much.
We will do more tomorrow and get more into the swing of things. She loves to learn. We did her barney laptop together too. She had her Rainbows class at church tonight which she loves and is good for her socially along with her sunday school class on sunday mornings too. She is so good with other kids and gets along with them very well.

Jan.10th 2006
We are planning on getting back to our preschool tomorrow. I told dd today that we need to start back and she was excited. She did some drawing/coloring today. I will print out the things I need and we will get back into the swing of things once again. I miss it and she does too. She wants me to read a lot more lately and so I do. It won't be long until she will be registered for K. I am excited for her but sad for me. She will love it though and be well ready for it too.
IT has been warm here lately well not really warm but unseasonalby warm I shall say. I figure we will still have some snow and cold weather though.

Wow 2005 has come and almost is gone already~
It is so hard to believe that this is the last day of 2005. So much has happened in this year both good and bad. I look forward to a brand spanking new year and new hopes, changes, joys and yes I am sure even heartaches too. I am going to get back on the bandwagon with working with my dd again next week. My older 3 kids return to school on Jan.3rd and so we can get back on schedule as well. I will be registering her for K in the Spring and going to some meetings with her. It is going to be so different but I am excited for her though. I will be a alone SAHM for the first time in my life and so that will be a big switch for me. Of course my oldest will begin high school and my second oldest will begin middle school as my youngest will begin K. WOW so much all at one time but I know with God's help he will help us through.
We are just hanging out at home this evening and baking cookies and watching tv. Dh is of course watching football. Tomorrow is church and a family dinner at my inlaws. The kids and dh are off on Monday so we will hang out at home and get ready for the week to begin on Tuesday. We had a wonderful and very blessed Christmas and the kids got so many nice things as did dh and I.
We got the kids a kitten for a early Christmas present and we are in love with him. The kids named him Midnight and he is so sweet and loving. He loves to play and bite and scratch too though lol. He was born on Oct. 15th as the lady told us who we got him from. He will be our first inside pet. I have cats that stay outside as do our 2 dogs but I have never had a indoor pet as I was afraid of fleas. I hope and pray he doesn't get them.
Well gotta go get the cookies out of the oven.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005~~~ Here we come!!!

Merry Christmas
Wow here it is Christmas time again! Such a lovely time of year. I love the spirit of it all. I try to instill in my kids the REAL reason for the season And that Jesus is the Reason for the Season!~~ I have been very slacking with doing preschool w/ my dd. I did finally get ink for my printer but still have just been doing some extra reading and workbook with her. I am hoping to get back on track after Christmas though. She loves her work time and I enjoy it too.
Before too long we will have to go and register her for K,I am so not wanting to :( but at the same time I am excited for her and know she will love it. She loves her little friends at church and loves to learn so she will do great,I just know it. I will miss my lil' sidekick though that is for sure.
My kids are all getting so big and growing up so fast that it makes my head spin.
We aren't quite ready for Chrismtas yet as I have a few gifts yet to buy. Today we are headed out to do some shopping and to get my kids and their cousins pic taken for my MIL and FIL,it is a surprise. They just received their 11th grandchild so my SIL's and I thought a pic would be wonderful for them for Christmas.
They range in ages from 16-1month old. Wow it will be so neat to see the pic today,I am excited!!
My dd is getting so mature and the things she says on a daily basis cracks us up.I am happy for her because she is going to love her presents this year as all my kids. I am excited for them!!
I am going to try and keep this blog updated better,I have just been in a funk lately and slowly coming around. I was in a wonderful holiday spirit and then BAM it went away so I am trying to regain that Christmas spirit. Our church program is tomorrow evening and all 4 of my kids are in it. It is going to be so good,I can't wait.

Its been awhile......
Wow I havent written in over 2 weeks. We havent been doing our work because I havent received my printer ink yet. I just ordered it yesterday. We did however do some work in her brighter vision adventure kit for November though. She asks to do her work pretty much everyday so I have to find something to do with her. She did good at recognizing her letters that we had already had. I was proud of her. We did a little color card game where she had to find something in the house of that color she flipped over. She did great. I read a story to her too. She is becoming quite the tv watcher so I am going to nip that in the bud before it becomes a problem. She still loves to be on the computer and have just free play with her toys too. She went outside this evening and played a bit too.It has been colder today and will get colder on as the week goes by. I have some Christmas shopping finished and on layaway. Dh and I are going on Friday and I hope to get a LOT done up. It is so stressing as usual.
She had her Rainbows class tonight at church and loved it as always. She is so much more outgoing now and I am glad.

Thursday Nov.17th
She stayed with Mom today.I had to be at the kids elementary school this afternoon for a social studies fair meeting to inform the parents and students of the rules and instructions for the project.DD-11 did one last year w. her cousin and won at the county fair and went onto the state fair. They did a wonderful job. They are doing it together again this year too.
They had a topic picked out but their teacher doesnt think it will do good so they are going to pick another topic. I agree w/ the teacher that it wont do good too.
Dd-4 had a good day and played w/ the two boys there. They are ages 2 and almost 2. She is so good w. them and they love her.

Wednesday Nov.16th
Another laid back day of playing, playing on the computer and watching movies. She didnt ask to do her work and so we didnt. I had some cleaning to do and laundry so she played and I cleaned. We laid down together and watched a Madeline show on tape. She is into those now.Someone had given us some and she loves them. She also watched a cute animated movie called Tiny Hereos so she didnt even watch Dora today, wow thats unusual ;-)
She had to wear her Barbie Fairytopia hat and gloves today. I got it for her last weekend and she loves it. SO she had to pose for me today and I took a couple pics of her. She is such a little ham. She has to pose for me too.

She got her t-shirt for her Rainbows missionettes class this evening and she had it on over her clothes. It is big but very cute for her. She loves her class and her friends she has there. I know it is helping her prepare for K next year too, mainly socially. I love that girl. All my kids are such blessings to me and I pray that I can be the best Mom to them always. They will all be home next week from school and we hope to be able to do some fun things together.

Monday Nov.14th and Tuesday Nov.15th
Monday we didnt do any work. She played on the computer a lot and with her toys. I had a lot of cleaning to do as I always do on Mondays. I think this was the first day where she never asked to do her work either. I still havent got my Dell ink for the printer ordered yet. I can print w/ the kids computer though.
Tuesday she stayed at Moms and played with the boys. I had to go to ds's class to visit. It is American Education Week so his teacher invited the parents in to see what they do during their reading block of a hour. They each go in groups into different stations to do things w/ reading. I enjoyed it and wow has my ds improved this year. His teacher and the Title I teacher who comes in and helps out with the kids said it to me today too. He is reading so good and told me the other day he is happy to go to school.I told the Title I teacher that and she said yes because it isnt hard for him now. I was so relieved to hear him say that, a boy who last year had to repeat first grade and who cried and dreaded going to school after a weekend or holidays were over. He is soaring high and I am so happy. I have to go for a social studies fair meeting on Thursday for dd-10. She and her cousin have their title picked for their project.I hope to be more involved and definitely better informed this year with the project. I hope they make it to state again as they did last school year.
It has been in the low 70's this week but tomorrow it will be a lot cooler and maybe some snow showers. I really want it to stay cool and so it will seem more like November. I cant believe next week is Thanksgiving, The kids will be off all next week and of course dh will be hunting/camping. We will hopefully rent some movies and get pizza while he is gone. It is fun for us but we miss dh too.
I hope dd and I can get some things done tomorrow and if not with her theme then some review and some pages in her brighter vision wk.bk.

The weekend~~ Nov.12th & Nov.13th
We did some shopping on Saturday and I finally got dd's winter coat. A new store not too far from us opened and is nice,it is called Ross. So she picked a very nice and cute Dora coat. She loved it and since it was a great price I loved it too. We went out to lunch and since she hadnt ate much since she had a virus she was very hungry and ate good. She is a pasta eater and loves the spiral noodles at the restaurant we went to.She eats them alone and sometimes dips them in the pizza sauce.
Today we had church and she at first didnt want to get up but when we mentioned her class she was ready to get up and get dressed then. She loves her class and childrens church class too.
Today my SIL had her new baby so dd has a brand new cousin- a little girl. I am sure she is gorgeous as her big sister is and I cant wait to see her!!
I hope to get my printer ink next week so dd and I can get back to our work. She asks to do it daily and even if I never even mention it to her.
She is outside enjoying the warmer weather today w/ her brother and sister. They were playing in the play sand and sand box and riding bikes. We are going to go on our walk in a little bit though too. Tomorrow everyone goes back to school and dh goes back to school.I will be glad to get the house back in order and get it all organized again, that always puts me in a great mood. I cant believe Thanksgiving is in a little over a week. I want to get the Christmas shopping finished up so I can breathe a little easier. The budget and shopping and figuring out what to buy everyone is just too overwhelming for me from now until Christmas. I just wish it could all be a LOT easier. I had hoped it would be this year but so far it isnt, unfortunately.
I am planning on going a couple days alone so that will be a easier for me to get it finished or at least half finished. I did get around to buying some decorations for our tree yesterday since we lost everything I of course had to buy all new things. I got them at the Dollar Tree and so it wasnt too expensive. The girls and I decided on a red and white and snowman and candy cane theme for our tree. I think it will look beautiful, but we need to buy a tree first
We usually dont get a real tree although I think they are much more nicer and prettier. So we shall see.

Thursday Nov.10th & Friday Nov.11th
Thursday we worked on the nursery rhyme for the week's them which is Bobby Shaftoe. We mainly just listened to it several times on line as they sang it on this cute nursery rhyme site: http://www.rhymesandsongs.com/nursery_rhymes/
I couldn't print out anything so luckily I had a few worksheets already in her workbox for her to do.
I have been wanting to review of what we have already done anyway so it is all good.
We then did some pages in her brighter vision workbook and a actvity too.
Friday dh had a vacation day and the kids were off school for Veteran's Day. So we took advantage of this and took the kids to see Chicken Little and out to eat and to get a few things at Walmart. DD had a stomach virus the night before but was better today, just a little weak.
So since she was better and fine all day we took her to her cousin's 4th bday party. She was so looking forward to it all week long and she had a blast with her friends and it was a princess party too.

Updates from Friday Nov.4th-Wednesday Nov.9th
Wow its been almost a week since I wrote here. We worked on her preschool last Friday and she is still loving it. We havent did anything yet this week though. She stayed w/ my Mom on Monday and yesterday was her 6 month dental appt. She did good but I had to once again sit in the chair and hold her while they cleaned and examined her teeth. Im hoping next time she will do better. She was very cooperative but still I wish she would sit in the chair on her own. I know this will all come in time though. She has a strong gag reflux so that is a concern. She couldnt do the fluoride treatment at all. She would have vomited for sure.So the dental hygenist didnt push it.
Today she and I went to walmart and after a year I had her ends of her hair trimmed. I have cut her bangs all along but I only had her ends trimmed one time. Her hair is so long and the end were so dry and split. Also it gets tangled SO easy so I am hoping the trim helps it and makes it grow better too. Wow it was at the top of her pants,it is so pretty. The lady only took about a inch off so that is good. She didnt want to let another lady a few months back even trim her bangs, she refused to sit in the chair so I figured today I was in for it. I prepared her two days ago and of course bribed her with a new toy. I know it isnt good to do that and I sorta felt like a bad mommy but she needed her hair trimmed badly. She did super though and had me go first as I needed a trim too. The lady even turned on snow white for her to watch as she did my hair and then she let her watch it as she trimmed dd's. DD loved that ;-)
Tonight was her class at church and she loved it as usual. She had to take her new toy-her baby doll to show her friends too.
She had to pick out her cousin a bday gift today. We go to her party on Friday,so dd is excited about that. She said at first that she was going to tell her cousin what she got her. I said oh no dont tell her she will want to be surprised so on the way to church tonight she said mommy I wont tell (cousins name) or anyone what I got her for her bday ok. Lol oh my so sweet that girl is. She is my little buddy and I know I will miss her badly this time next year. We had lunch together at Subway and she talks to me like one of her big sisters would.
She saw a little lighthouse in a pond for decorations today as we were driving and she quickly yelled Mom I see a lighthouse. It is so neat that she knew that and because our theme right now is lighthouses. I hope to get her to the beach next summer and to see a real live lighthouse.
She and I need to work on some review of what I have taught her so far before moving onto another theme. I cant print out anything right now as my printer is ou of ink so I have to order some through Dell. So tomorrow preschool time will be a review and some work on her brighter vision things. She is doing a lot better with tracing her letters now too.I need to work on this with her more.

Thursday Nov.3rd
Today we did the letter E. She did good at tracing a page with the letter E. Also she did good with a worksheet where she had to cut and paste the objects that start with the letter E on the big letter E. We moved onto her new brighter vision pack which we picked up at the post office. I had called and cancelled the packs but this one came today.I will keep it and pay for it but I will have to call them again and cancel it.We cant afford them every month and besides I get plenty of things on the i-net for her for free. There was a cute storybook in this month and she enjoyed me reading it to her.
She was tired and fell asleep watching tv this afternoon. She and her brother played outside this afternoon after school. It has been like Spring outside lately.
I think now before starting another letter we will work on reviewing and recognizing the letters we have already done. I feel sometimes that I dont do enough things with her to truly help her learn and recognize the letters that we do in a week. So I am going to do some rearranging of our weekly activities with the prepatory curriculm.
I am stressing over Christmas and I dont know why. I am driving myself nuts as I usually do.I have decided that starting this year I am going to set some type of rule or budget on how and what we get the kids. I have always had a amount or limit for each of them but it wasnt set in stone so to speak but from now on it will be. I am going to sit and think long and hard about this and come up with a idea and on my own. I realize sometimes I ask for too much of other people's advice and that just complicates the matter more. So I need to rely on my own thoughts and ideas or actually that isnt right either. I totally need to rely on God and his ideas and thoughts for me and my family's life and decisions. I try to do just that but then I somehow think that I can do things on my own and then of course I fail.
I certainly dont want Christmas to be commercial for my kids but I do want them to have a nice Christmas. They do know the true meaning of it all and they arent material only with wanting. We dont spend a lot of money on their wants throughout the year so Christmas is a time where we do get some of their wants. They always have all that they need of course.
Taking a break from everything sounds like a good idea. I need to stay away from certain things in life so I feel less confused and irritated. Hmmm... and I thought this was for dd's preschool only, lol. Oh well who says I cant add my thoughts and revelations as needed ;-)

Tuesday Nov.2nd
Today we did the shape:Octogon. She at first called it a diamond. I showed her it has 8 sides and not 4 like the diamond. We did a worksheet on matching shapes and it had the octogon shape on it too. Then we finished up with this shape activity:
http://www.first-school.ws/activities/books/shapes/shapethings.htm
After that she was ready to play.So she went and played with her Dora doll that has the baby brother and sister with it. She entertains herself just fine. I enjoy watching her play. I tried to get her to nap with me today but she wasnt tired.I ended up dozing off while she was beside me watching a Madeline short movie. She said "Mom why are you sleeping, you better wake up" lol I said Im tired thats why. She usually crashes in the afternoon too but on some days she isnt tired as others. She will be tired tonight after her Rainbows class at church Im sure,so she will most likely go to sleep earlier.
Im making philly cheese steak subs for dinner. Everyone will love them except for my one picky eater,my dd-10. So I will have to make her something else. I hate that but she has always been very picky.
Today is gorgeous and pretty warm or at least for November anyway. I wonder how the winter will be,a lot have predicted it will be bad. My ds-8 found a wooly worm and it had a lot of brown on it. As my dh's grandma said that you could tell our winter by the wooly worm in the Fall. I wonder if that is true or not.She was a very wise lady though and grew her garden by the almanac and moon phases so she should know.
He took it to school to show his teacher. She is into the science of insects and things and boy that is right up ds's alley. He LOVES that.

Tuesday Nov. 1st
New theme day! We started a new theme and this week it is Lighthouses. Our vocabulary word is Beacon. I found wonderful pictures to print out and add to her learning poster too.She was very interested in the lighthouses and the beacon. She said my favorite word is beacon, lol. It almost sounded like she was saying bacon. She is so funny. She just enjoys her "work" as she calls it SO much.
I found some coloring pages for her and I threw in a review of the letter C with a worksheet and a shapes review worksheet too. I found some pages on beach scenes too which showed a lighthouse and sand dollars and sea shells. I told her if we get to go to the beach next summer then we will see a lighthouse in real life and sand dollars too. She liked that. We really do hope to get to the beach with the kids next summer. We havent been since dd-4 was 10mos. old. She would love it now as our older 3 kiddos would too.
Then we did this cute little activity for the day after Halloween.
http://www.first-school.ws/activities/crafts/holiday/candycorn.htm
She loved it and said Mmmm it looks good to eat, lol. She wanted to paint so she did a page or two in her Care Bears paint w/ water book. She played awhile on nick jr. as I did some cleaning. We had a errand to do in the afternoon and she fell asleep on the way there. She said Mommy Im tired and I said try to stay awake but she just couldnt. She just cant take riding it knocks her out about every time.
She spent some time outside this evening since it has been in the lower 70's here this week. We are sure having some weird weather that is for sure.
I am starting to really stress about not having much Christmas bought yet. I need to get a move on for sure. I hope to go again this weekend and get a LOT finished up.

Monday Oct. 31st *~Happy Halloween~*
We didnt do her work today because she stayed the day at my Mom's. She had fun there and Mom only had one little boy today too. We took her trick or treating on Saturday evening. She looked so cute in her little black/purple bat costume. We only went a couple places. My dd-10 threw together a outfit and she went too. It was fun for them. We had a harvest party at our church last evening and they played games, ate snacks and got a nice bag of candy. It is always a good time had by all. We will hopefully get back tomorrow with her theme. I talked to a friend at church yesterday and she is also a K teacher. As a matter of fact she had my 2 older girls in K. She is the young kids bell and choir leader too. She also does a childrens church program with the younger kids. So she was giving me my kids parts in the Christmas play and she said dd-4 is always the one who is most willing to do things that she is asked to do w/ the childrens church program.I said yes she seems to be getting somewhat out of her shyness. She said yes she is. SO I went on to say about her starting K next Fall. She agreed that it wouldnt benefit her to hold her back. She said she always is VERY good with sitting and listening to her and has a good attention span.I said yes I notice that while I work with her at home too. So she agreed with me on sending her next year. I of course felt better. I know I will be the one with the most problem fo sending her.OMGoodness it seems like just yesterday I was feeding her and changing her. She is our last baby too so that is one thing that makes it harder too. It is so hard to believe how darn fast my kids are growing up. I am very proud to be their Mom and I only hope I can be the best Mom to them too. I strive to be on a daily basis.

Thursday Oct.27th & Friday Oct.28th
Thursday-We didnt do school today.I had to bake peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies for my ds's harvest party at school. We also had to clean her room which was a total wreck. She did help me and we sorted through some of her toys, you know those tiny pieces of things that are no good. I hate those tiny pieces so we cleaned them out and threw them away.I need to go through her toys again before Christmas since she will be getting more and her room is already getting full.
She played a good bit on the computer and w/ her baby dolls.
We had our evening walk as a family after dinner. She loves it but it was very cold this evening. She had to take her Droa doll along but of course since her hands were cold Daddy ended up carrying it,lol. I guess its time to get out the winter hats and gloves, geez. We usually dont have to do that until late next month or so. It is cold here though and dh had to build a fire in our wood stove this week too.
We woke up to a pretty heavy frost this morning too.
She and her brother stayed outside for a bit in the afternoon and rode bikes.

Friday-We started out the morning with her playing on the computer. She is getting too hooked on it lately. She is good at clicking where she needs to go and doing the games though, wow I am impressed. She barely needs me to help her at all besides putting in the address to take her to the site. She is playing barbies now and wants to watch a show on tv.We are for right now hanging out and not doing work.We might sit and read a lot of books today and bake something together. Tonight we are heading to the local high school football game since my oldest dd's middle school band is playing there tonight. I will have to really wrap up dd-4 since it will be cold there. She really should stay at my Moms but I know she will want to go.
Tomorrow evening here in our area is trick or treating so we will take the kids to a few houses, which are family members. I doubt if my older 3 will dress up so it just may be dd-4.She is going to be a little purple/black bat. She is so cute in it too.

We did the number 4 and that is good because of course dd is 4.She enjoyed that and she tells me that at her next bday she will be a whole hand. She is right and wow she will be 5.
We did some other worksheets for review on other colors, letters and numbers that we have done in the previous weeks. She loves to do worksheets. We then did a adorable pumpkin activity. http://www.first-school.ws/activities/crafts/holiday/pumpkin.htm
We put it on the fridge it is so cute. I helped her a little bit at cutting out the shapes but she is getting so good at cutting now though.
We spent a lot of time together on preschool today. I am not sure what we will do the rest of the week so I added more things in for today.
She had her class at church this evening and always loves it.They have a lesson and craft there too. There are a good many preschoolers-boys and girls in there too.
She is still tired in the afternoon and takes a nap on most days. She crashes when a nick jr. show is on or in the car as it is time to get the kids from school.

Tuesday Oct.25th
We were able to do our preschool today but not for long. We learned the letter D. She caught onto it quickly. We did a few worksheets where she traced the letter. She is getting better at them and I help her to know where to start and finish as the arrows show her. We made a dog puppet w/ a brown paper lunch bag. She still loves to do the craft/activity type things and the worksheets. She loves getting her sticker on the worksheet too.
We woke up to some snow this morning too.We were surprised and dd thought it was Christmas, lol. She loved it and so I took a couple pics to document our first snow for this season. We went straight from summer it seems into winter,we sorta skipped fall.

After our preschool time we went to a friends house and she played w/ her cousin and a friend from church. She had a great time and I did too visiting my friend. We had lunch with them and she stayed there as I ran a quick errand into town. She didnt give me a hard time as it was time to leave so I was glad for that.I had already told her though we would be leaving shortly after I got back. She always gets along SO well w/ other kids. The other 2 girls were spatting a little w/ each other. I think it was tough w/ 3 playing together and one being jealous of the other playing w/ my dd.I dont know but it worked out and was ok. The older girl is pretty bossy so that is a factor too and she is 6mos older than my dd.
The snow didnt last long and was more of a dusting than anything else really. I hope it doesnt mean we are in for it this winter though. At least we are in a better area here at this new home and it has a lot more easier access to it.
Wow and only 2 months until Christmas, that is hard to believe. I guess I better get busy w/ some shopping.
