i thought this was a neat idea: a site where kids learning to read can practice doing so (there are number games too, I think) while “hanging out” with a parent, grandparent, etc. via the internet. basically, the kids can see and hear their grandparent and play learning games with them online.

So we're using Distar and I decided while we're only at the begining it might be time to start looking for some additional tool to reinforce what we're learning. I like that each time your kids master a letter thy get to post an art project of the letter. Do you have any suggestions for me? My e m ai l is j e ss ica w e i g a n t no spaces at hot mail I don't know if this will let me post my address or not so thats why i put it like that.
