Goals for the 2006 school year

As I'd mentioned previously, because we school year round, I tend to view our school year as 'one' with the calendar year.

My goals for the 2006 school year:

The big one: Assist Kaira in completion of our PrairieFrogs Academy 1st grade graduation requirements. Our extensive 1st grade requirements pretty much sum up my goals for her (school-wise) this year. She's well on her way, but there are still several areas on which I need to concentrate.

Kendra will likely finish her 100 Easy lessons in the next few weeks, and I hope to get her further grounded in reading this next year. I'd like to see her finish 1st grade Math orally and get through the Victory Drill book at 1st grade level.  We need to buckle down on memory work once again too.

By the end of 2006 I'd like Keianna to be ready for 100 Easy Lessons, and know all her letters (upper and lower case) and a single sound per letter. (Short vowel sounds on the vowels, one sound for each consonant.)

Keegan--just obedience training. And I MUST get going better on Baby Math with Keegan and Keianna after the holidays!
