Ken was off work last week, and were were gardening PrairieFrogs!

We began a little square-foot garden, and furthered our existing attempts at landscaping the grounds.  Our windswept plain is rather harsh, with a much shorter growing season and more extreme conditions than we were used to in Colorado, so it has taken us years to get brave enough to try vegetables. 

This year we are trying!  We'll see what a summer of tending can produce!




Will our tomatoes, celery, chives, onions, garlic peppers, celery, lettuce, carrots and herbs bring forth delicious bounty?  Stay tuned!
