Beautiful! Ha, though I have to admit - I wasn't sure what to expect. The title of your post showed up in my sidebar and I went eh??? because the only 'Columbine' that I knew of was the school that had the shooting years back! Learn somethin' new everyday. *grin* http://tailsgonewest.blogspot.com/

Columbines are the Colorado State flower. (These were actually transplants from my mother-in-law's garden in Colorado. I've loved Columbines long before the school by that name (near where I grew up) became national news in such a tragic way. There are so many flower varieties though, that my title probably was perplexing!

Well you taught me several things with this post - that "Columbine" is more than the name of a school connected to a tragedy, that it's a flower, and that it's Colorado's state flower. Coming across the info in this manner, I'll likely never forget it LOL *grin*
