Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Two days in a row we've had beautiful, full arch double rainbows!  I don't believe I've ever been able to see the whole arch of both an inner and outer bow before!  The first evening we interrupted dinner just to gaze!

My widest angle camera lens couldn't capture the full arch, as it stretched across the whole cloud strewn canvas, but I captured a sliver and the rest will need to remain in our memories.

Don't you love how double rainbows "mirror" each other? Have you noticed that?? The colors in the second one are in reverse order. Cool, huh??

Dell, your pics are soooo gorgeous. My husband bought me a great camera for Christmas, but I am still snapping haphazardly. I have started reading Scott Kelby's books 3 or 4 times, but the info doesn't seem to stick in my brain or something. If you keep posting these beautiful pics, though, it might motivate me to really settle down and focus on improving my photography skills. No pressure on you to keep posting great pics or anything . Really.
