We enjoyed our fellowship at church immensely and the big girls were especially attentive in the service . (Although Kendra was diligently following along in Colossians–and the sermon was in Hebrews.) (And yes, the much requested--or more demanded--brownies were a hit at the potluck again.  I took real food too--a crock pot of ham and massed potato casserole.) 

It is a beautiful day, and after the potluck the children romped outside, mostly avoiding the mud puddles created by the melting snow. Back at home Kaira and Kendra are further enjoying the mild weather. In a short while I shall head outdoors myself. The rootbound aloe plant in my windowsill needs repotting.

I enjoy our restful Sundays. In keeping with our Sunday custom, dinner will be... whatever falls out of the refrigerator.  Ken will have already gone to bed in preparation for switching back to nights for the week. Even when he wasn't on nights though, I’ve just never had an inclination to make a true "meal" on Sunday night. Maybe it is genetic. My mother usually did pizza or "refrigerator fall out" on Sunday nights too. Pizza seems a common Sunday evening tradition, as Ken’s family did that on Sunday nights as well.
