I know, I know... I already posted a picture of Keegan standing in awe of the big ol' fighter plane over on Wordless Wednesday.  Somehow these airplane pictures were begging for a vintage feel, so I played with one of the other images:

We are back home and settling into school after a splendid time in the mountains!  We were treated to quite a few glimpses of wildlife, and had great fun watching the children scamper around the mountain-side.   (I even have scabs on my knees to prove I scampered too!)

Just because after the previous, poignant entry I want to post a happier picture of my Kaira--here's one from earlier in the afternoon:

I've mentioned before how it thrills my heart to see my "big girls" (who are still pretty young themselves) dote on the littles.  Soon Kieran won't want to be carried everywhere by his devoted big sisters.  Soon he'll be leading them around by the hand as he scampers here and there on his own two legs.  So I had to capture these while I could.

Sigh... they grow so fast....
