Entry #1

I don't have much to say except that this is my very first entry ever, ever, ever on a blog.  I'm still not quite sure what a "blog" is.  But everyone is doin' it and I hate being left out!

I guess this is more of a test than anything.  We're getting ready to start a unit study (of my very own creation...sort of) on the American Revolution.  This will be my first attempt at a unit study that has really been born of my discovery of Cindy Rushton's website and re-discovery of Charlotte Mason, Ruth Beechick and Susan Wise Bauer.  Oh, and also my children's pending revolt over boring textbooks.

I guess I also need to figure out if I can upload pictures on this thing.

Soooo much to learn........

I just started blogging last Saturday. It is fun. I've made alot of cyber friends, and they have been a blessing in my life already. You will figure things out. Some seem hard, I'll leave those for later. :) I'll add you to my friends list, I know having comments and a friends list is real encouraging when starting blogging. Stop by anytime.

We must be neighbors! I live in Westfield, IN. Welcome to the big wide world of blogging. I will enjoy seeing what you post as you get settled in. We are getting ready to study the Revolution time period too. We also hate textbooks. We love the Carmel Library though!
