invisible hit counter

Feb. 29, 2008

I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'M DONE...

At the moment I am wildly, ecstatically, superbly, undeniably, visibly, insanely, overwhelmingly, completely, absolutely, stunningly, wholly, thoroughly, utterly, unquestionably, as happy as I have ever been in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!! (It will most likely hold the record for happiness until the Matrimonial period of life.)

I passed my last test of my college education yesterday!!! It is done, fin-eto, over with, all gone, THE END!

Today has been spent filling out my graduation application. The finality of this monumental event has not entirely set in, and I still find myself trying to figure out what I should be studying next. When it dawns on me that there is nothing I need to study, I break into an inane grin.  Quite delightful...

Yes, as those of you who know me well will point out, I will probably have to get my Masters Degree at some point, but I will get at least a year (Maybe two?) to actually work, and build my financial base. It will be very nice to have someone pay me for my work, instead of having to pay a school to make me work!!! (That aspect of school has always struck me as quite odd.)

Thank you for all of your prayers! They were felt, and appreciated. The Lord was gracious to me, and much of what I studied was what specifically appeared on the test. I will promptly forget all I learned about modern authors, as they are much to depressing; but, the history of our first American authors was quite interesting. I have a few new books for my already extensive reading list!

Check back on Monday, a new period of my life calls for a new look...

Later!

Feb. 29, 2008 - Gaaaaah!!!

It is so hard to read your posts when I'm in the library! I want to burst out in loud guffaws but the librarians would kick me out if I did that. *hmph* Perhaps I can borrow our friends computer later to re-read these so I can laugh to my hearts delight! Ahem... I love to laugh! Hahahaha! Long and loud and clear!... Isn't life beautiful?

Anyhoo, about the cake, it looked as wonderful as could be expected considering the humidity. That's a real shame. The cake I made for my little sister's birthday had a very similar frosting and it turned out gorgeous, though I have yet to post about it. I'll let you know when I do.

That is perfectly, wonderfully, excitingly, amazingly, dazzlingly, astoundingly, thrillingly... er... thrilling that you passed the last exam!!! Of course, all of your adverbs made me think of a friend of ours whom I know would jump out of his skin in horror at seeing so many strewn together in one sentence! And that of course made me want to laught out loud... again (drat you). But really and truly, that is awfully exciting, I can imagine that you must practically wild with enthusiasm. I have but one question, wouldn't the day of your re-birth (in Christ) have been the absolute happiest day of your life? Then again, I suppose it migtn't be as I can't say that for myself (I must finish writing my testimony).

Well, I really must be going, I have a post to make. come read it if you can!

Hey,
Thanks for the comment. We're glad you enjoy our blog...! Our goal is to take it a database for information and events that go on in the HSB community. Feel free to contribute if you have anything interesting to share!
Also - thanks for the encouragement. We know a few people that are unhappy with our blog (for unknown reasons). We're trying to please everyone, but it's kinda hard.

God Bless!

WOW! Backwards: !WOW
So you did it! I can't believe it! Not that I can't believe you were smart enough or determined enough, it's just that actually graduating college seems so far away for me. So, do you feel smarter?

Mucho grande congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took me a good amount of seconds to realize you were old enough to graduate. That almost made me cry. We are so OLD!!!
Well, at least you are . . .
After I wanted to cry I wanted to dance around the room singing "Annie", and buy you a present, and give it to you in person, and sing the national anthem at the top of my lungs, and twirl in circles until I'm too dizzy to walk straight, and smile until my face couldn't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a relief to be done! And a blessing, and an accomplishment to be forever proud of.

Have a hug and handshake on me!
~Kat

P.S
I left a comment on the cake post too.

Just wanted to make sure that I didn't offend you by my last reply comment about Dumas? I hope that I didn't come across as rude! :-(

Congratulations!! I am awaiting that glorious day...

And sure, sending dessert through UPS doesn't sound to bad. We send reptiles that way... anyways, there's no way I would refuse cake! (Although my ballet instructors might have differing opinions). How is dance going for you?
