First LapBook Ever...
I had read about lapbooks a few years ago. I didn't think it was for me since I didn't even like to scrapbook. Online scrapbooking YES, but on paper, no.
I recently came across
Jamin's blog. I was inspired and gave it a shot. I wasn't well prepared, but thought I'd just pick a topic and go for it. We finished it in about 45 minutes. N really liked it and wanted to sit on the couch just going over the information, over and over again. We will definitely try it again soon.

and a picture of it open...it's okay to crack up at my folds-

I'll have to show that to C. I've never been able to get him interested in doing one. It looks great!

Hi N, it's me C. My mom just showed me the lapbook you did on the food pyramid and I wanted to tell you that you did such a great job. I've been wondering how you've been doing.

Hi Diane!
The printables I use are from the curriculum we use, "Little Hands to Heaven." If you have not heard of enchantedlearning.com, that is a great place for printables outside of a printed curriculum. Thanks for your positive feedback. I really appreciate it!
