Today, I am 48 years old! Happy Birthday to me!!  LOL

Age truly is a state of mind... it's just a number.... inside you feel as young as you ever did....

LOL Except today, I don't feel so "young"...

Dear son and I both woke up sick  Monday and we're still aching and paining, coughing which sounds really nasty, having a really sore throat... Called the nurse and she says that it's 50/50 whether we really need antibiotics or just continue treating the symptoms... She said if we're not better in 24-48 hours, call in and get seen. LOL Actually, that means 24 hours, because I don't want to pay the "work us in" price on Friday, and they may not have any openings on Friday... So if not better will call tomorrow and make an appt. for both son & I. Maybe they can cheap it for us and not charge too much for peeking in two different throats...   I can hope anyhow...

What a way to spend a b'day! OH well... I was planning to spend it cleaning house... and still will once I get something to eat... but the bed is looking more and more inviting....

I'm supposed to have Moms' Night Out HERE at my house Friday night...  And it's not looking too good (the house, the kitchen, the bathroom, etc.... heh heh, or my health).... If I see the doc tomorrow and do get on antibiotics, then I might be able to pull it off... but that means WORKING HARD today and tomorrow AND Friday up until 6:30pm... while not feeling well...

We shall see!
