Homeschooling Only One

Thursday, September 27, 2007 - Today... he is 18.

Wow... what a milestone.

 

His dad took him to get his learner's permit renewed. (Mike did pass Driver's Ed in a Box, but we can't afford to almost double our car insurance, so he'll get loads of practice, I guess.) Then they were stopping at the post office to get him registered. I'm sure glad I didn't have to do that. I don't think I'd cry, but it's such a mixed bag of feelings with it all.

He's 18 and a senior this year. Our last year to homeschool. Next year he'll graduate (according to my plans sometime in August, but that might change) and I turn 50 years old... Next year looks to be a MAJOR year of Milestones!! LOL

He has a late Sept. b'day, so when I began hs'ing officially, I "held him back" and started Kindergarten the summer/fall he turned 6, so this "school year" ('07-'08) is our 13th year to homeschool.
