What were you doing 10/20/30 years ago?
10 years ago - 1997 -- As Heidi mentioned, I met a great group of online ladies who I am still hanging out with and will, God willing in another 10 years. We had just gotten internet connection. Firstborn was 8 years old and we'd been homeschoolling for 3 years.
20 years ago - 1987 -- Married for 5 years; deep in baby fever but would't have my firstborn until 2 more years. Changed jobs the year before from the animal hospital to being the church secretary where we attended -- one secretary office. Fun days and it was about a 5 min. drive to home.
30 years ago - 1977 -- One year out of high school. Went on my first date with my future dh - I had to ask him as it was a Sadie Hawkins Party at the Baptist Student Union at UTA in Feb. that year. That summer I went to CA from Tulsa with my aunt and ended up staying a few weeks longer than expected as my mother separated from my dad and when I did return, came home to a motel room and had to late register for the Fall Semester at UTA. Dark days began - school and not much else. Had a very good friend who called me every day and that got me thru those days.
