Outside my Window...is Lubbock, Texas! It's very overcast with lots of rain...

I am thinking...about going tomorrow to the Texas Tech Museum to see the exhibit of Anthony Quinn's art collection as well as the university's paleontology collection. It's free!

From the learning rooms...my son is doing the last week of his homeschool journey while I'm in Lubbock. Feels weird, but he knows what he has to get done.

I am thankful for...my husband. He's got a job here and I tagged along so I could get some writing done here at the hotel while he works.

From the kitchen...junk food, mainly because I haven't gotten out to the hotel "store" to see if there is anything I want to cook up in the microwave here or on the stovetop. It's a NICE kitchenette suite.

I am wearing...jeans, fuzzy warm socks, a gray sweatshirt with Carpe Diem embroidered on the front.

I am reading...see the last entry--bio on William Wilberforce.

I am hoping...to start working on an outline for a book I'll be writing soon.

I am creating...this blog entry. :)

I am hearing...the TV and nothing else... it's very quiet here. I could hear the rain pouring down earlier, but it must have eased up some.

Around the house...my son and my mom and my dog... and not me!

One of my favorite things...Nabisco brand Nilla Wafer and Almond M&Ms... some of the junk food I've brought with me... LOL
