Homeschooling Only One

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 - 99 Things Meme

Under-the-Pines Heidi had this on her blog (which came from "Mrs. Nicklebee's" blog, which came from Karen Joy who I don't know. LOL) so I thought I'd place it over here... if anyone wants to play, leave a comment so I can check out your responses. :)  My experiences are bolded:

10. Sang a solo
11. Bungee jumped
12. Visited Paris
13. Watched a lightning storm at sea

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch

15. Adopted a child
16. Had food poisoning

(Did you know that old coffee in a water carafe at an IHOP can give this to you? It can!)

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
18. Grown your own vegetables

(Well, it was only one pumpkin that grew and it was only pumpkins I planted to grow... but I made a pumpkin pie from that one pumpkin!)

Never got it Xrayed, but a doctor-friend at church said I most likely broke it but that there was nothing to be done so no real need to Xray it.)

92. Joined a book club

(Several book clubs by mail, where you buy books thru them... not a group that meets to study a book... although I did have a Charlotte Mason group that studied Catherine Levison's book on CM... so I guess the answer is yes, no matter the meaning behind "book club"! LOL)

Hey, thanks for playing, and thanks for linking to me!! Did you see that we have the same source for our "painted" portrait? That's funny! And, I'm sure you know that Lisa Wlelchel is a homeschooling mother herself now, too.

I noticed that about the Disneyland portrait as well and wondered if I had missed Karen Joy's answer in the copy and paste clean up!

I don't think I realized you lived in CA, Donna. Were you born there?
