I want this to be a place where our family and friends can stop by for a "cuppa" and catch up on what is going on in our lives. Since we live so far from everyone we wanted to keep you all up to date, so sit back, relax and read a mile a minute, just as if you were hearing me talk :0) !

On Oct 14, 1947 Chuck Yeager made aviation history, he flew the XS-1 past the sound barrier, becoming the world's first supersonic pilot.
