After a few days to rest and recuperate with Paul in Arizona ... the kiddies and I did the last 13 hour drive arriving back home to a stocked fridge (thanks mom & dad) , a house FULL of boxes & furniture (thanks Lisa for accepting both my shipments for me while I was visiting with the Garners in NC) and a dog that was thrilled to have us back home.

We dove straight in that first evening arranging furniture until the wee hours of the morning. The next few days were a blur of activity as we sorted through boxes, got all organized and set up! We had the last box out of the house in a few short days, had the house alls et up, the things packed away for long term storage all sorted and a number of boxes to donate.

A number of trips to some local shops and everyone’s rooms were all done and ready for .... THOSE Briens to arrive for their visit! Liz & the kids arrived in Fresno... and the adventure began. (LOL)

We have spent the bulk of our time together just chilling out at my place, kids swimming in the pool, playing games, watching some movies and a few shows ( We have them hooked on Psych). It's been a good time for the kids and I to recover from our last few very busy months... to settle into our new place & for Liz and the kids to rest after their whirlwind move and around the world plane tickets!
