When anyone comes to visit my dad can not rest until we have drug… er, I mean shared, Kings Canyon with its giant sequoias with them… My dad had Sunday off.. so on Sunday we....

loaded everyone up and did the hour long drive to the gates entrance. We had a full day exploring a small section of the park- they were adequately impressed with the size of the giants- the view from Morro Rock (which wasn’t much of a view because of the smoke from the fires in Yosemite) and just the mountains in general.

It was a fun, full day!

Back home everyone hit the pool for a couple of hours and then it was off to a good nights sleep much deserved after the full day.
