So this morning I heard a text message on my cell... I was still a little too tired to get up and grab it. A few minutes later my phone rang. I knew it would be Paul since I didn't reply to the text. He said good morning and asked what I was doing... I replied that I was just getting awake.... he asked if I was watching the sunrise over the Sierra Nevadas .... I said I was not that awake yet .... I asked what he was doing... he said, "why don't you bring me a towel..." I thought in a split second.... How mean! Don't tease me like that! "Your not here!" is what I said out loud, then I heard a loud slap on the pool and a command, " Bring me a clean towel" .... I jumped up and looked out the window ... and sitting on the edge of the pool, near the water fall was .... a dream! Paul is here for a whole entire month! He finished up with his school two weeks early, spent the last week in DC doing all the stuff he needed to do .... and is here with us for an entire month... I can't stop smiling! What a great surprise! |
