Lupton's Loving Life
Jun. 16, 2009
She is SO my daughter!

I have had my suspicions about Addison for awhile now …

little things like all the lists she makes: morning routine, chores, birthday gifts, things to buy,  nighttime routine, books I have read, books I want to read, projects to work on, names for my children ….those are a few of the lists I see as I glance around her room and notebooks…

or the rotating letter writing schedule she made up for herself …

Or the fact that all of her hair things are not only sorted… but labeled as well.

Yesterday, I knew there was no hope for her… Addison came out of the kitchen and was all smiles and whistles, I asked what she had been up to and she answered that she was “just putting away the kitchen towels.” …

fast forward a few hours and as I was getting ready to pull dinner out of the oven I opened the drawer where the oven mitts are only to find this!

I love that she took the time to arrange the kitchen drawer for us and made it so pretty, (I must say that it was in rather good shape before [I am me after all] she rearranged it though.) She is such a hoot. Poor girl, one day her spice rack will be alphabetized – but no need to scare her just yet.

It really gets bad when the underwear drawer gets color-coded by style, color, and size! (pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-pregnancy)
