THAT was so HARD!

A little while ago I went into Addison’s room where she was sitting on her floor, dressing Kit for the day … and told my little love that Baby Immanuel didn’t make it.
Oh, but that was so hard to tell her! It was much harder still- to hold her as she sobbed out her heart.
She knows that his little body had suffered so much, that he was in much pain and that now he is resting in the love and comfort of our saviors arms….she knows that she was able to be a blessing of happiness while she was with him and singing to him about Jesus love. … she knows that with all of his medical problems his life was going to be one of much pain and suffering….it doesn’t make it any easier.
As I just walked past her bedroom, she was sitting on her bed, head bent over a journal … I am betting she was writing a song about a baby boy.
….. my poor baby.

Now the hard part - explaining to Addison why God sometimes says "no" to our prayers. I will lift you all up to the Lord and pray he'll give her some comfort and peace.

What a sweet chance to be with Immanuel and give him some glimpse of love during his short time on earth! Way to go, Addison! May God now comfort YOU as you deal with His passing. Keep sharing your love with those hurting kids. I am so proud of you!
