Our first day of the Summer FuN Camp was a lot of F-U-N!
|

The girls busied them selves playing games in the morning:

Phase Ten, Chinese Checkers, Scatergories, Mother May I & Hit the Deck were a few of the games I caught them playing.

They had lunch outdoors, which prompted us to have the table moved to the covered patio. —too much sunshine.

After lunch they watched a Veggie Tales movie (gotta love VT!) and recovered from the heat stroke relaxed for half an hour and then they were on to nail painting.

We were joined by Amy and her two daughters. (Amy & Allen are the new youth pastors at our church & they will be here working with the orphanage for the next year.)

They had fun and were so bright and colorful by the time everyone was finished.
Paul and I had to scoot right out the door at 3:00 to head to the Ambassadors house for the official Fourth of July celebration. Back home by 6:00 with enough time to toss some food at the kids and drive them up to the Youth Group Movie Night.
It was a busy full day!
