| I've been such a stranger to my own blog. I have no excuse, except perhaps busy-ness - and a touch of being lazy. Busy doing things like: Preparing for the new school year, buying curriculum on eBay, selling old curriculum and other items on eBay to help pay for the curriculum we need, finally going through all the clutter in the house (a work in progress), moving furniture from room to room so we could redo flooring in a couple of bedrooms (also a work in progress), fun stuff like our mom's group that met every Tuesday over the summer for structured adventure playdates... you know... I've been busy. Lazy because I needed to tweak my right sidebar to update curriculum, and the template doesn't remember nonbreaking spaces and the little double-arrow that I put in front of the people on my friends list. So every time I make a little change somewhere else in my template, I have to remember to go and put them back in, which isn't as easy as it sounds. Frankly, it's not difficult, it's just a Pain In The Hiney. I guess I was kind of hoping that the new blogging platform that is in the pipeline with HSB would be here by now. Oh well. So, today I finally took a deep breath and fixed the stuff I was being lazy about. While I was busy doing laundry because our 2 yr old puked in our bed and had a juicy poop in his bed last night. Sigh... a mother's work never quits. School starts after Labor Day, and I plan to be less of a stranger and let you all in on how things are going as my middle son, H, begins Jr. Kindergarten this year! In other news... look for a new twist to Nest Watch 2009... coming soon. ~ |
