| So, Nest Watch got off to a false start early this summer... but all is not lost! Lookie who has taken up residence in the abandoned nest we never got around to taking down!  It is a Mourning Dove. We've had them start a nest before under our eaves, but they never got far before they decided that our comings and goings were too much. But the appeal of a "move in ready" nest seems to have won them over. I'm not sure that we will adjust our security cam this time to get nest-level viewing, since she's already comfortable there. I'm betting there are eggs because she's pretty much constantly on the nest right now. I will update this occasionally over the next few weeks. |
