For the first time in weeks, a thought.
I believe I may have come up with a plan to force myself to post more often. Shall I tell you of my plan? Yes? All right, then. My brilliant plan needs a little background to be understood, because, brilliant as it is, it may be a little confusing without the proper explanation.
First, have you ever heard of a game called 'Board of Experts'? I can't hear you, so I'll just assume, for now, that you haven't. Very well. The game 'Board of Experts' works thusly: Take a bunch of people, pick a few from out of the crowd and bring them up front. Now everybody votes on what they want this select few to pretend to be. Once they've decided on something (plumbers, doctors, ninjas, whatever), they ask these people questions, and these people answer the questions in a professional manner (mostly by making a bunch of stuff up).
That was the background. Now, for my brilliant plan. You are ready, yes? Okay. *deep breath* You will all suggest something or someone that you want me to pretend to be (alien, dragonslayer, Shakespeare, whatever). I'll pick some of my favorites, and you'll all vote for the one you like best. Then you can start asking me questions, and I'll have to post to answer them, see? It's a fantastic plan, yes? I thought of it all by myself, yes I did, me!
Any questions? Comments? You can start suggesting stuff right now. I look forward to seeing what sorts of things I might end up being! (Or end up pretending to be, whatever.)

...you should be the crazy writer lady from the movie, "Stranger Than Fiction." Talk about a backstory that's gotta be irresistible. (If you haven't seen it, you totally should - just watch out for the men's locker room conversation, b/c the backdrop is a bunch of fat hairy people showering. GAG ME.)

It is NOT snowing here in C.A. though i've got like 3 comments asking "so it's snowing where you live in CA?" It's not snowing, I made the poem up real fast on the theme of winter, yes it snowed in SD where I used to live, but I doubt it'll ever snow down here in the desert. :-D tell that to others, so they don't ask me, it get to a LOW of 35* in the desert here, not cold enough to snow, unfortunately. :-D *sigh*
