Palms of His Hands

"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." ~ William Arthur Ward

• Aug. 12, 2005 - A Prayer for Today

  Dear Lord,

Help me see the spills, mishaps, frustrations, interruptions, and annoyances of this day for what they really are:

Opportunities to allow Your love, grace, and mercy to be revealed through me.

Amen

What a great little prayer you have written on this post.

I read some of your other entries too. I'll say a prayer for you about your 14 yo off to school this fall. I guess we never know just in what way God will direct our homeschooling, like you said. It was an interesting read.

I am slowly figuring out this blog thing. I still dib;t really understand how to find 'friend' on the site without typing in the enter address in my search bar. I want to be able to read your blog and the others I have had comments from.
Your little prayer is terrific and such a good reminder to me of how life does seem to throw us curve balls almost daily and we need to see them for what they are...I am amazed at how God can use every second of our time, if only we allow Him.
