The response from our church is awesome. Already we needed a trailer to take all the clothing donations to the evacuation center in Richland. How my heart welled with pride and joy to hear one of the directors say, "We have more than enough supplies for now. We have more than enough volunteers for now. We're sending all those boxes you see (stacked out front and in the foyer) south where they haven't yet had any relief." Praise God for the generous and kind-hearted people of central Mississippi!!!!
We decided to send the donated items with Dace, Kevin, and DH to Tylertown which is south of here. They may get to see my parents so I ran to Kroger and bough some bread to send. While I was at Kroger, DH called his brother Johnny who delivers Bunny Bread. Johnny donated a whole truck load!!!! I'm anxious to hear how it goes.

• Sep. 6, 2005 - My post
I was so looking forward to your wisdom when it came to my post about which church should we go to. I am confused and so unsure because I know in my walk I need meat and trust me I read alot trying to get the meat for myself. I know we are not to rely on man for our walk with Christ. What I struggle with is some things he says we do not agree with so do we contradict everything to our children?
Or do we go where we do not have to do that? Though scriptures tells us we must examine all things, right?
So confused and unsure?! Our desire is to go and fellowship where God can use us the most. I am not sure how we would benefit the homechurch. They have a system, he leads everything, though thier desire is to grow but into a church building. Which if we home-church is not how we see it. We see homechurch as an opportunity for intimacy as well as spreading. When one homechurch gets too big you start another one not get into a building. Our views differ quite a bit with both churches on family. Do you see our situation? I know so go and find another church. We are in an area where everyone is Anabaptist for the most part so it makes it difficult to find a place where rules supercede salvation. It is also hard because we have been seeking for 2 years for a place to call home. We fellowshipped with a group of believers for a year before moving on.
Thank you though for trying to be encouraging.
