Last year, around this time, I posted an entry about my then DD14, DS17, and my trip to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert. You can read that reflection by clicking here. Two days ago I repeated that wonderful experience with DD now 15 and DD11. I was saddened that DS18 couldn't join us this year, but tickets are expensive and he had to make some difficult choices about how to spend his money. (I made both daughters buy their own tickets.) Would you believe that at the last minute one of DS's friends called with an extra ticket?!?!?!? So, while he didn't sit with us, we did see him there and shared the experience. This year's performance was every bit as awesome as last year. Maybe even better since we were seated on the 11th row instead of the 24th.
Some kids from our church (John, Jenn, Seth & Luke) went. Did ya see them? Wait. I don't know if you know what they look like. Well you (Probably) know what Seth (Kyle used to go to school with him) looks like.
Mrs. Drew Llyn, for some reason I've been having a lot of trouble with my Blog, and it won't let me post a entry that I have been working on for awhile now and I have been having to save it as a draft. But today I tried to post it but it won't let me. So you'll have to use the password and username that I sent you so you can see it on a draft.
Of course God's Word is the source of all true life changes, but I have encountered several books which have made the "Bible Life" more real to me. I wish to share those with you here.
