Wow! I'm not an American Idol watcher. (Not because I think there is anything wrong with it, but because I just don't think about it.) However, it's been brought to my attention that "Shout to the Lord" was performed last week. How incredible is that? Here it is:

To see such a talented group praising the Lord is incredible. I pray it wasn't just their voices, but their hearts as well.

I am suprised to see that this song was sung on American Idol. I do hope it wasn't just their voices but also with their hearts as you said. I am glad that many who might not have heard this song have now heard it on national television.

We had never watched American Idol before this season, and I agree, it is amazing to hear the name of Jesus on national TV. They sang "Shout to the Lord" two nights in a row! Then Dolly Parton was a "mentor" and two of her songs that mentioned Jesus were sung, and some I group I wouldn't know sang a "rocked out" medley with "This Little Light of Mine!" I am so thankful this wasn't all censored. Praise the Lord!

The first night they sang it they did, indeed, leave out the name of Jesus, but the next night they sang it correctly. That's what this video shows...WITH the name of Jesus.
