At SLU, I took a personality test called DISC. I'm an S. D stands for Dominent; D's are controlling, thinks he's always right, and gets stuff done. An example of a D is when a D walks into a room full of chairs, he will reorganize the chairs in that room. Just because he can. I stands for Inspiring; I's are people people, they influence with voice and emotion, the party planner, careless, likes to be involved, and goes with the flow. An example of I is when an I walks into the room and sees the D moving chairs, the I walks out of the room, gathers his friends together and says, "Lets all move chairs! It'll be great!" So they move the chairs every which way. S stands for Steady; S's are sincere, makes friends very easy, always has a good reason to influence, possessive, cares, doesn't like deadlines, and is trustful. An example of S is when an S walks into the room and sees the D and I moving chairs, they go, "Ooooh. I don't think you should do that. Whoever set those chairs up took time to do that. You're messing it up." The D looks at the S and says, "Shut up!" The I looks at the S and says, "Ah, come on, it'll be fun!" C stands for Correct; C's influence with fact, are orderly, task-oriented, at war with D, is annoying, and thinks everyone but them is wrong. An example of C is when a C walks into the room, sees the D moving chairs because he can, the I moving the chairs every which way, and the S weeping in the back, he automaticlly yells, "STOP!!! You're all doing it wrong! If you had done it the way I thought up, you would have had a 43% increase in productivity." The D looks at the C and says, "Shut up!" The I looks at the C and says, "Hey, loosen up, it'll be great!" And the S looks at the C and says, "I know. I told them, but they wouldn't listen." I wish I could give you the test and see for yourself who you are, but it's copyrighted, sorry. |
